African Union denies Haiti Membership

This is the equivalent to Britain being allowed in NAFTA or American joining the EU. I see nothing wrong with the AU decision if its not within region.

Caribbean nations, with a few exceptions, have been managed poorly post colonialism. The island nations need to come together and create their own union.

i agree with the first part, i dont really understand why people are bemoaning this decision, do people think some magic is gonna happen if haiti joins the AU, the Au is a weak, broke organization

black caribbean nations are doing ok, not good or bad, just ok overall
