Nonsense. This whole conversation of delineation started when ADOS re-ignited the idea of reparations and mad diasporans popped up like, 'Would we be eligible?' When told no, they mentioned their histories of enslavement in their home countries. We answered, 'Take that up with Spain, France, the UK, etc,' and they reverted to that old stand by, 'we all black.'
That's when we began to realize, they running game on us cuz we damn sure not included in nothing they do and better not even try. You see how they talk about American musicians just visiting and reveling in the Motherland vibes.
All Black people globally were deeply scarred and affected by colonialism, slavery and the current corrupt state not just Black Americans. There is no monopoly on this, everyone of our people was affected.
I dont think the issue for all Black people in the diaspora was about attaining reparations from the US, but mainly from Europe.
The only overlap is including the Arabs who kicked it off.
The Carribean nations demand reparations from Europe, not the USA.
Namibians want reparations from Germany, Kenyan's want reparations from England. Theyve never ever mentioned America.
Europe as opposed to America had its hand in all African states, so continental Africans are owed money by Europe. Ive never ever heard anyone from Africa saying America owes them, its usually only Europe they focus on.
If any African immigrant currently in America stood in the reparations collections queue, he's just rolling the dice and playing the system..if you called him out hed get out the queue, start laughing, act clueless and then quickly leave.
