Not the most informed on the subject but I’ve done some reading and projects throughout high school and early college about the Afro-Iranians. They are the children of African slaves who were called Zanj. They lead one of the biggest slave rebellions in history.

They are a small population, but they like many Afro-Middle Easterners have a rich history and culture. They are the other side of the diaspora away from the Americas
