strike 3 looking, looks worse from the fans/outside because people dont expect you to just take a strike 3 like that...but swinging strike is a pure overmatch to your ego. its like someone yamming on ya when you try to go for the block. the opposite is also true. when you hit a monster shot off a pitcher you look likeI dunno.

Pops always told me if it’s anywhere in the neighborhood to swing your ass off, NEVER get caught looking at strike 3 because that means the pitcher fooled you badly.
I think they also look back to make sure it’s not a drop 3rd strike that they should be running.
