After a few more listens of MMLP2

First and foremost it's better than MCHG. Secondly, while there are bunch of songs that are just straight up trash (Desperation), there are a bunch of others that are really good (Legacy, Rap God). Even the songs that Jay has that are good (fukwitmeuknowigotit), he doesn't flex any real muscle, musically, lyrically, flow,etc. When you factor in Em's recent work like this album, Bad Meet's Evil and joints like Don't Front, I gotta say that not only is Em aging better as an artist than Jay but he may be creeping into my Top 5 if he keeps putting out stuff like this an Jay keeps getting weaker.


Finally, when Em is on songs with the hot new artists (Drake and Kendrick) he either holds his own or outshines them.

Not Jay...Kendrick absolutely renegaded him and Drake ate him on Pound Cake.

Jay basically retired after the black album... he still releases albums but doesnt try too much... its obvious
Eminem is trying but his output is all over the place qualitywise in recent years but he seems to be trying

I actually like Desperation. Not in my top favorites on there but i'd listen to it before Stronger Than I Am/Headlights/Berzerk/The Monster.

def better than MCHG because Em is actually hungry and not just hopping on the next wave like Jigger does.
