*This is a funny twist.Here is the New Yorker who launched the most recent drive to get the medallions replaced. Articles, letters, petitions, interviews, etc.
He is happy that it happened but upset that he didn't get any credit.

I was expecting that Los Angeles Mexican that made the “Check in Kiosk” shaking hands with a bunch of NY cats holding their chains and an official Checked In Certificate.
