Only fukking idiots subscribe to those bums
Anybody quoting dave meltzer in 2015 about ratings or double talk needs to sit down
I am not a subscriber, but I do hear the radio every week.

And No one else is even close in wrestling rumors like them, ALL of the dirt sheet sites quote them.

Maybe we need a new person to come up.

dem dirt sheets were half right though since the initial rumors had Sting returning for Summerslam and Dudley Boyz returning for summerslam to face the wyatt family or something like that

But i haven't paid attention to dirt sheets in over a year

Got an Observer sub and love it, come at me TSC :birdman: Really the scoopz~ are the least interesting part of the Observer every week. When he writes up the history of a promotion or an obit :banderas: Dude has a short novel on deck when one of these old guys die :wow:
I renew mine every now & then. They have great exclusive interviews, like the one they just did with AJ.

HILARIOUS review recaps, sometimes i don't even watch raw but instead listen to the recap shows

Does anyone actually listen to their Radio show?

They said on Sunday (the Summerslam wrap up) on Wrestler Observer Radio that Sting Will be on RAW and be part of a big angle.

They talked about 2 months ago, how WWE called Bubba to work an NXT house show and to leave "his options open" - he couldn't work it due to an injury.

I am not caping by ANY means, because Dave and Brian get shyt wrong ALL THE TIME and what makes it worse is that some sites will get report them talking about something as news - like last week when they were saying how they knew it was Kevin Dunn who zoomed in on the Eat Owens Eat sign on RAW. They didn't know it was him for sure, but they just thought it was, so then every wrestling news website said Kevin Dunn told the camera guy to zoom in on the sign. It caused "Kevin Dunn" to be a world wide trend on twitter.

I think I am the only one on TSC who listens to every review show (After PPV, RAW, the middle of the week show about Lucha/NXT/Smackdown Tapings) and while they do get shyt wrong all the time, he is the only one who really "breaks" background wrestling news.
Most people who shyt on Meltzer don't actually listen to his show. It's all second hand shyt from two-bit sites like PWInsider who report his discussions and speculation as fact so they can get clicks. Here's what usually happens:

Meltzer and Alvarez discuss something, Meltzer says, "Well y'know, based on this stuff y'know, maybe X could happen, y'know."

WrestleZone et al: WRESTLING OBSERVER REPORTS THAT X IS HAPPENING.

For everyone saying that they were right on the call that Sting was gonna be on Raw, anyone could've guessed that. Too bad that in the days beforehand they also were saying Sting was gonna be at Summerslam and/or saying Kane was gonna return there as well.

Yeah.

Like two days ago, Meltzer said something to the effect of "it looks like Eva Marie is moving on to be #1 contender to Bayley's championship. It looks like it's going that way, I have no idea how they're gonna pull it off".

And the shyt sites came out with "EVA MARIE WILL BE THE #1 CONTENDER", ignoring the "It might happen" part.

It's been a while since I wrote commentary. I blame it on my lack of inspiration.
But now I have a couple of things I'd like to clarify. So here we go...

First off, those of you that follow the SoCal scene already know I was involved in a pretty controversial angle last week-end, where I ended up using the n-word.

Right off the bat, let me say this. What I said has nothing to do with racism, because, well... I'm not racist.

I probably shouldn't have said it but I did, and I can't take it back. I was looking for something strong that would solidify my heel character and I said it. It probably wasn't the best thing, and I'm sure I could have found a better way to accomplish that but on the spot, I just did what came to me.

Now, I'll take my share of the blame. However, I will say this. I think some people are making this into a much bigger deal than it is. Why? Simple. Because according to what I read on various message boards, people don't even remember the situation. They remember the word. That's all.

Some people think I also called Generico a beaner. Others think it was Disco. My point is nobody remembers what exactly happened, they just remember the n-word. To me, that says a lot. By the way...I never called Generico a beaner. And as far as the n-word is concerned, well all I did was repeat a line used by Steve Austin in the Longest Yard.

I remember watching the movie and thinking, when Austin, who played an abusive prison guard, said that line: "What a f*cking a$$hole!" And then I figured if it worked for him, then it could work for me. It just came back to me when I took the microphone at the end of the show and at the time, with the adrenaline flowing and the intensity level as high as it gets, it just came out.

Seeing as how I was having a hard time getting heel heat, I went ahead and did it, hoping it would get me the heat I was looking for. Well, I got the heat all right but I took it too far. Next time I will think more before I talk. If I offended any black people in the audience that night, I am sorry. If I offended anyone else, well then that's just too bad, because besides black people, I don't see who should be offended by it..
