PHILADELPHIA -- Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins does not plan to protest during the national anthem before Sunday's game at the Seattle Seahawks.

Jenkins revealed his intention after the NFL and the Players Coalition, which Jenkins co-founded, joined in a partnership that calls for the league to contribute $89 million over seven years to projects dealing with criminal justice reform, law enforcement/community relations and education.

:stopitslime:

50% of that money is going to the Players Coalition, which is co-funded by jenkins, WHOM ALSO OWNS A fukkING PAPA JOHNS FRANCHISE!

What else you want? Every protest has to have an end game and end game wise it got some money for them to help black folks in need :manny:
Kap been given money to charities and if he played he would have given checks and continue to donate to charities, so...:yeshrug:

Its Malcolm and Anquan not being upfront with the rest of Coalition lies the problem.

The Passage of Time
The protest was to bring attention to "Police Brutality" and they did that and they got the NFL to assist in something they have nothing to do with. Sometimes you need to know when to concede. The NFL did not committ any of the acts that they are protesting about. They used the NFL platform to bring attention to the cause and the NFL(who did nothing) gave them money to assist in the cause.

THEY ARE NOT SELL OUTS, You fukking idiots.

Just to give a little context to what $89 million can afford you in 2017:

Battlefield High School opened in the Fall of 2004 and cost $36 million to build.

Freedom High School opened in the Fall of 2004 cost $40 million to build.

Patriot High School opened in the Fall of 2011 and cost $70 million to build.

So one school, :mjlol:

So who are the people determining how the money is spent...?

Jenkins been a straight up dude if he is the one determining how it is spent then I got no problem with that...

And for everyone saying "the players are being paid to not protest"...uh no fukking shyt...the other alternative is the nfl owners...who don't give a single fukk about black people problems anywhere at any level...was for them to give money AND let the players keep protesting and we both know that shyt wasn't going to happen...

anybody calling this man a sellout is a fukkin clown.

Eric Reid said that Jenkins has not been including Kaepernick, the founder of the original movement, in communications.

“Malcolm, which is also a concern that I raised with him, Malcolm kicked Colin out of the coalition following the meeting in New York at the beginning of the season,” Reid said.

“There was a group message — I guess he was the administrator of the message, and he took Colin out.”

Papa John’s blamed NFL players kneeling against police brutality and racism for their low Pizza sales. It is coming out that Malcolm Jenkins who is being accused of secretly negotiating a payout to stop the protests owns a Papa Johns.

And counter to what Trotter reported on Wednesday, the source says the 49ers player was specifically asked if he would stop protesting if the league made donations to charity.

“Eric received a message,” the source told Slate. “The comment was: Would you be willing to end the protests if they made a donation?”
