Not on an institute for Akom, Ghana’s indigenous AFRICAN religion

Persistent crime in most countries and communities are driven by culture, not lack of resources or any of that bullshyt people usually push. Real poor people can't afford guns or have time for beef.
All those countries that make the high crime list have a culture of crime and violence.
Mexico,El Salvador, Jamaica etc.
The new leader in el Salvador recognized this and is not only going after gang members but gang culture and anything that promotes it.
Gang tattoos, gravestones, graffiti and even media that promote gang or spread gang messages.
In black America the main promoter of gang and violence culture is rap music. No one is saying that people will listen to rap song and immediately go crash out.

As a Haitian woman that did grow up in those conditions. It’s a variety of things, culture is included but because of the lack of resources is a major problem , young men turn to these gangs because there no other options. A lot of young men and boys are orphans. When your country lacks opportunities and structure, this is one of the main results.

Leaders of countries have the safety and welfare of their constituents to consider. Writing books /giving lectures is not the same thing as running a country. I think their reason for doing it is different than our reason for doing it. But their presence in the US is more concentrated in CA, so it’s not as visible as the US gang presence, and doesn’t get as much coverage, or put into their media as much.but only the black community is gangbangin and it's because of rap music

If Haiti had a functioning govt. instead of a parade of gotdamned thieves posing as leaders, a concentrated takedown of gangs could work.
As it stands now, Haiti is the picture of what other countries will face if they don't get a handle on gangs .
