African americans have a huge deal to do with the development of modern western culture(America) In the same way Egyptians influenced western civilizations in antiquity.I know of no other african culture that has influenced the world in such a way, more than AA other than the ancient Egyptians. There maybe a large gap. But aa have produced the biggest inventors, scientist ,philosophers etc in the diaspora for the last two centuries. Theres no african society that has been so entrenched in global culture, as aa culture

You forgot the Mali Empire...Who were actually responsible for bringing Europe out of the dark ages and their ruler Mansa Musa being the richest man in history.

Or the Kushytes being known for rescuing and saving Jerusalem. As a result saving modern day Abrahamic religions. We helped shape modern western culture. We weren't just a witness to it as many would like to think. We made America into the country George Washington dreamed about. We are western culture

I can point out Haitians, because of them America was able to buy French Louisiana. Not only that the Haitians assisted many countries in the New World like Venezuela for their Independence. Not lets not forget halting French influence in the Americas. Making America the sole power.

And then you have Jamaicans have created reggae which is heard around the world.
