Can't stand the whole "he was such a nice person who had a genuine smile, who had a kind heart, who believe in the good in everybody, who......"
I loved my granddad's funeral a few years ago. Mourners respected gramps and were like "you knew where you stood with him and if it was good or bad, was up to you

," "he wasn't the best civilian and had a shady past but take care of family

," "couldn't get over on him and would make sure you knew that

."
I fukked with my gramps. Real dude who was chill and smiled but was maintained awareness.
As for myself, hoped to remembered as:
- a stern dude but you had to warm up to him; appreciated a good laugh
- appreciated his real friends and *looking at the audience* half you mufukkas weren't friends to him

- did things his way
- With his non-profit, cared about the kids of his city
- loved his wife and those who loved him. It was "black and white" with him, no "gray."
