In episode 14, two new recurring characters (S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents) will make their debut. One, a combat/weapons specialist and the other, a "high-level" munitions expert with past conneections to Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Ward (Brett Dalton).

TV Line has the scoop that two new S.H.I.E.L.D. agents will be reporting for duty in the shows fourteenth episode. The site reports:

Episode 14 will introduce two recurring characters: an African-American agent who specializes in combat/weapons, and a high-level S.H.I.E.L.D. agent/munitions expert who has past ties to both Coulson and Ward.

Th next episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is the tenth. That one features the return of Mike Peterson (J. August Richards) who is now a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent (really, didn't he murder someone in cold blood?!). We've also previously seen the debut of Victoria Hand (Saffron Barrows). Will these two new Agents be original creations for the show or will they be based on characters from the pages of Marvel Comics? If its the latter, I know quite a few fans wouldn't mind Clay Quartermain being one of the Agents.

Clay Quartermain is a big enough name character that Marvel Studios will probably wanna use him as a supporting character in a future movie. No chance he's gonna be in this show.

Actually what the networks really care about is the Live +3 numbers because those are the ones that advertisers care about.
Live +7 doesn't factor in commercial viewing so those numbers are not monetized the same way standard live and Live +3 viewing numbers are.

:wtf: I'm enjoying this show. I guess i'm the only person who had realistic expectations for this show.
I don't get what people mean by when they say that (and a lot of this show's defenders trot this one out)...all I expected was an interesting show that would meet a standard set by the movie franchises it is being spun off from and the previous work that the creative people are known for.
What I wasn't expecting was an Airwolf type 1980's tame action/adventure show.

It's basically the only defense people are making. They want to talk about the poor acting, bland characters, shytty special effects, or forgettable storylines.
