I used to have difficulty understanding how people can be so stupid until I learned about how many people literally don't have an internal monolog. There's no voice in their head gaming out the scenario, thinking of ways things could go and planning/reacting accordingly. They literally go through life without thinking about their actions before they undertake them.
And these people have power. fukking frightening. At some point I thought he would try to break the window and pull her out of the car, take her phone and destroy it before proceeding to do worse to her. Too many overly emotional, room temperature iq people out here.
