I gave it 4 tries, but can't anymore. The main character wears a helmet the whole time and has the personality of a discarded toenail that was just clipped. And the baby Yoda bullshyt is pure fan service/toy grab. It does nothing to advance the plot or story.

I don’t think you necessarily NEED to see the characters faces.

Matter fact if I have to nitpick comic book/ super hero movies is I hate they too much either gotta find ways to show their faces or keep them out their mask.

If I bought a ticket to see say Spider-Man or Batman, I really wanna see Spider-Man or Batman and see them just how they are treated in the cartoons or comics.... wearing their gear 80-100% of the time.

The Kid obviously is strong in the Force and Jedi should be looking for him also, this is a storyline in the new video game

I’m just imagining if the OG trilogy Star Wars with Darth Vader was made today, people would complain about the 1st two movies him always in the mask and probably demand in TLJ he’s shown walking around on his ship without his helmet for more than half the movie

They were tortured, turned and trained by Darth Vader. Solo is about 12 BBY (Before the Battle of Yavin "A New Hope"). Rebels is set from 5 BBY to 1 BBY, with the epilogue being set sometime after 4 ABY (After the Battle of Yavin "or after Return of the Jedi"). The Mandalorian is set 10 ABY, roughly 5 years after ROJ.

nikka are you trying to compare Doom and Vader to a glorified storm trooper?

It's not only the mask. The portrayal of this character is bland. He's supposed to be a villain, but his good. He doesn't know what he want's to be. Vader has a cool voice and aura. Doom isn't even in the same category.

Bounty hunters never got much screen time in the star wars saga anyway.

And again, this is something that nobody asked for. A live action clone wars series on the other hand
