I was reminding OP, Pumpkin, that one small "victory" in values shouldn't overlook how big of logs of poo old generations are when their selfish actions have ruined everything for future generations...basically, one small "good" traditional value shouldn't override the rest of their traditional values that ruined this world

They are from a time before Social Media and a general acceptance of no fault divorces. I'd be surprised if they didn't show more support. Frankly, many of them that actually look at the current state of things are against marriage. But hey, maybe you and your lady give off really positive and lasting vibes. I can dig it. True. When we first got married (btw I'm @ejthompson23 wife) it was more crap from those who done been ran thru, got 3 kids by 20 & strongly believed I gotta hoe around before locking it down.
