He’s 33 and took about as bad a beating as it gets, if you think he’s gonna be fine after that you’re sadly mistaken. Fighters more often than not don’t come back from fights like that. Meldrick Taylor comes to mind.

Wanna bet? I mean I respect your opinion...but judging from his pre and post-fight words and demeanor/"psyche" he seem skraight to me, he just ran into someone who is better than him. My boy just happy to be alive after all he's been thru, this just a little bump in the road, imho of course.

Fair points. Imo this loss stands out for a few reasons:

1- the accident. May add a level of ‘man you good go be with your family’

2- The detached retina. Yet another potential career ender he had to endure

3- For almost a decade his career was built off the buzz of him and Crawford. Now he’s suddenly and abruptly been shown to be inferior. You absolutely can’t predict the type of psychological damage that can do. Spence is one dude I thought I’d neeever see get beat to a pulp. Bc of his skill and how he carry himself

I always thought it was hilarious how Spence was this Boogeyman. Shawn Porter took him to the limit. Fukkin Mike Garcia went 12 rounds. U think Bud or even Ennis is letting Mikey Garcia finish the fight?

He's one of those guys that is good at a lot of things, but great at nothing. Crawford literally does everything better. And he showed it. I just didn't think Spence would get battered like he did.
