Facts.

Most Americans can’t afford an unexpected $400 bill, but let the internet tell it, everyone’s a hustler and getting to the bread. People are so far gone that they think having two-three jobs should be normal. They actively push against policies and ideas that would benefit everyone just so they can slave their lives away. Look at how proposals of raising minimum wage spark hostile reactions.

To this day people are happy to work 9-5 for five days of the week - despite that working model being outdated and not accounting for tech advancements that have increased productivity hundreds of times over allowing CEO of conglomerates to hoard bigger and bigger pay checks - there was a thread on thecoli recently with brehs celebrating Elon Musk being a billionaire and casually wanting to buy Twitter on a whim - meanwhile the average individual can’t cope with inflation and rising costs of living.

Our basic instincts are survival, reproduction and play. We are literally on this planet to socialize and play, but play is always taken out of the equation and replaced by working.

Honestly lately I’ve checked out of society’s standards as long as you can provide food shelter and a balanced life of entertainment enjoy your life that’s all you need. That’s how law of attraction works people force themselves to do all these things to try and make as much money as possible when all it takes is just one is just bullshyt. You should not live your life being a slave to the dollar.

This life of over excessiveness is starting to run its course and the world won’t survive if it continues to function this way.

Work life balance is what u make it.

If you don't wanna work hard, that's cool no one is forcing you too, but don't cry when u can't afford the sneakers, tvs, video games, eating out everyday, and yearly vacations social media says u should have.
Who is he talking to? He just turned on the camera and started rambling...

Some people have aspirations to do something else with their lives, besides just working a job. What's the issue?

Bingo. To me it just comes down to what you want out of life. If you cool with just being done with work at 5pm and relaxing on the weekend in a decent house, it don't take a lot to have that. You can do that and wait to retire til you hit 65-70 (probably 75 in a couple years)

If you want all the extra lavish shyt then you got to work/hustle for it. That's fair. I hustle even after my regular job is done because I don't want to work a 9-5 til I'm in my 60s and 70s.

All the crying and complaining is meaningless and unmanly. You play the cards you’re dealt. You do what you gotta do to get what you want.

That's why that hustle culture nonsense has been dumb af the last decade :yeshrug:

Hustle yo ass to an early grave :francis:
You’re not supposed to be hustling hard forever though. You’re supposed to hustle heavy for a certain amount of time to build a situation where you can fall back. The issue is most people just work, and when they get more money they just spend more money, and they never develop any skills, so there’s no actual progress. It’s a treadmill.
