I’m gonna bump this because of the new “news” that was recently dropped by the DOT and the ATC union

New Academy grads will get a $5,000 bonus when you complete the FAA Academy, and some “hard to staff” facilities will be given a $10,000 bonus as well

Theoretically you can have a $15,000 bonus if you pass, and choose one of the “hard to staff facilities”

So anyone who applied and taking the test, or already have your class date.. you’ll get a bonus when you become an Academy Grad

The actual job itself is dope and relatively easy 95% of the time

It’s the other BS that sucks
