How much more improvement could they have?

They won a Super Bowl and are currently 7-2 with wins over the rams bucs and packers, is there another championship that we don’t know about that the should have won

And why are goedert and smitty having good years if the qb can’t throw the ball on a consistent basis and why is his passer rating so high and how on earth did aj have a Cpl 1500 yard all pro seasons with that quarterback

I’m confused
Anything to hype up his cac gawd maye

AJ Brown is gone after this season. It's clear the OC is more of a power run, TE heavy offense. AJ is basically used as a decoy and that isn't what he signed up for especially because his paycheck is dictated by his production.

To be honest, all that does is support the theory that Hurts and Brown had a falling out.

But to legitimately answer the question:
Smitty can win his matchups on routes. Goedert can win his matchups on LBs or find soft spots in zones.

AJ is a good route runner, but he only runs three of them regularly and is more likely to bully his matchup. Meaning, he's a "he's open when he's covered"
WR.

Hurts is notoriously risk-averse and is more likely not to throw the ball or throw an uncatchable one as opposed to throwing it up for somebody to make a play (which is why his passer rating is so high).

Their OC is trash, and it doesn't seem Hurts has consistent autonomy to do what he thinks is best. He also cares SOLELY about winning and would be perfectly happy with never throwing for 100 yards in a game as long as they win.

TL;DR - AJ Brown is Nick Saban. Winning is cool and all, but he cares about how the whole of it looks, and winning ugly isn't sustainable. I don't blame him. Deep down, Devonta, Saquon, and everybody else know that the offense across the board doesn't look great (outside of Hurts' TD/INT ratio). AJ is the only one willing to say something about it.

And even if this was solely about him getting the ball... well, they haven't run the ball well at all this season, and he's at worst their second-best player on offense. He should be getting 10+ legitimate targets a game, no matter how much or how little you throw it.

lol Kyle will never want/trade for AJ. No egos allowed here besides Kyle
What's kinda funny is I see Philly hiring Shanny if the Iggles and Niners part with their coaches. Kyle would have a running QB he lusts over.

Im not saying he has to accept the situation, but he sounds like a bytch complaining passive aggressively all the time. We get it nikka, u dont wanna be here. Let your agent and Howie handle shyt behind the scenes to find your next team.

all this pouting on the sidelines, livestreams, twitter, etc as a grown ass man is corny...u a captain on a team trying to repeat. We not the Titans
Just goes to show you how much he don't like Jalen, don't like Nick, and don't like the Eagles in general.

Years of all pro numbers. Check
Extension. Check
Superbowl. Check.

And he still :pacspit:.

I think Jalen lowkey doing it on purpose to cause it's to many times he looking dead at a wide open AJ...and then he scramble for 8 yards :pachaha:

There was nothing passive-aggressive about his most recent comments.

It's rare to see a professional athlete catch so much heat on social media and all that just because he wants his side of the ball to perform better -- when almost all the stats say they aren't doing well -- and be part of the reason for that performance uptick. A man can't even have pride in his job anymore.

This is similar to their 2023 season when they started out 10-1 despite clear issues in team performance. They folded down the stretch of that year. Despite their start, people saw the cracks forming and eventually the dam broke.

Crazy cause they actually play Detroit this week too. Would be crazy if it played out exactly like this game. :mjlol:

Nah, it's not similar at all. That team had not just one of the worst defenses in the league, but one of the worst in team history across several metrics.

for the dummies who see a screenshot of 1 snap per game and use that to fuel their shytty narratives. it definitely seems that AJ has way more of an issue with our offensive scheme & mindset. it makes sense seeing that he has been 3x all pro since coming here, but throwing temper tantrums in public for the world to see makes it corny. he also doesnt look as explosive on tape as previous years either, but whatever. im ready for him to go for a 1st/2nd after our playoff run, even if we repeat :manny: .

The 2025 Eagles have given up 350 yards or more to teams in 5 of 9 games this year. The 2023 Eagles gave up 350 yards or more in 5 of their first 9 games.
To this point in the season, the Eagles have allowed 192 points this season. At this time in 2023? Philly had allowed 195 points.

The main difference is that 2023 Eagles offense was considerably more productive despite Hurts having his worst year ever as far as ball security. Now, the argument can be made that the offense is mediocre in spite of Hurts' play. The 2025 Eagles have been outgained in 7 of 9 games this year. In 2023, they outgained opponents in 7 of their first 9 games.

It's more similar than you think.

The Eagles are talented enough to turn the ship around. All isn't lost yet. But to pretend that all is well because they're winning close games is unwise... they've done this before. Their defense started to fall apart around week 8 or 9 of the 2023 season, and it went all the way downhill after San Fran put belt to ass.

They got AJ Brown 1450+ yards two years in a row, then 1000 yards last year. Jalen can get him the ball so either the play calling/schemes suck but I also think AJ isn’t getting enough separation. Most times I see the ball go his way, the corner is right there and you’re hoping he outmuscles his way to the ball. So IDK. But the play calling definitely needs to change before I make a serious indictment on AJ.
Sometimes Jalen misses him though when he’s open

Doesn’t see him or over throws
