Akinyele is crazy underrated. Dope MC. I still got a few of his joints on rotation
Facts. He was a dope rapper but it was overshadowed by how crazy his content was. I remember when his abortion track off the album got so much flack

Yea that writer from the Source slaughtered him in that article. That really threw a monkey wrench with the album. I always said the "Put It In Your Mouth" track was a gift and curse for him. no. He did the first Main source in 91, his own debut that was shelved in 96, this album, and G rap's Wanted Dead or alive along with Let the Rhythm Hit em in 1990(that he received no credit for either). He did get credit for 2 tracks on Wanted... but the engineer along with G rap and Polo said he pretty much did 75% of the album.Isn't this one of the only Large Pro produced albums from the 90s?
As for Vagina Diner, I have 2 copies of that. it was rare for a long time dating back to 2003. A song like "I luh huh" could never be done today. That would end any rapper's career.
