Black people always wanna single out other black people for being slaves, but they dare not say it about a white person because they have no history of slavery in America.
That's getting old, because just because you're white and Kevin Love and a white man owns an NBA team doesn't mean you own it, it makes you on the same level as any other NBA player in his league.
Some people need to not let slavery go, but stop comparing things to slavery when there's nothing like it in todays world. We have social constructs which enable ideologies of racism to exist (learned this from my African History teacher, who is a white woman) but we are in no way slaves and that kind of mindset walking around with this kind of insecure chip on our shoulder, trying to disengage ourselves from the reality of OUR country in order to be with some dude, who supported a man who didn't support one of the greats that fought for social justice (Malcolm X), is backwards af.
I was reciting a 2chainz bar in my head today too "I had a sitdown with Farrakhan", I'm thinking "who tf is Farrakhan, really?" I understand his importance, but let's be realistic there's truth to his words but he's no better than Elijah Muhammad, only difference is he has the FOI doing security for rappers like Migos.
