basically the only game that took the survival horror genre seriously..

not a great game by any means.. it's good.. i remember playing it in 2011...now dusted off my ISO copy and re-playing it ..

just wished the story was more polished .. seems like they rushed it at the end.

I went through a lot of Trouble to get a copy of it so I should probably do the same and replay along with American Nightmare because they were both Fair Horror/Survival Games.

My only complaint was the repetitive combat, you basically walk through the woods and get jumped by 3 of those darkness possessed dudes the whole game.

The TV show aspect of the story was cool to me, I wish more developers focused on game narratives.

I thought Alan Wake was dissapointing...I meant to give it another shot on the PC and it still haven't had the urge to even install it.

The combat became repetitive but thats one of the few survival horror games that scared me last gen. When it became dark, i was like oh shyt here we go and i would be so happy to find just a lamp post or a lamp hooked to a generator.

I enjoyed the game, story and characters a lot.

Enemies were repetitive but it was more about the story and atmosphere. Even the American Nightmare DLC was fun

enemies are ok .. i like the fact that they didn't have Alan turn into superhuman mode and go through the darkness like he's an expert at killing them. At the same time it made the combat frustrating cause you had to go through so many trial and error. Especially in the beginning. The dodge system really needs some work though.

Ya the atmosphere in the game is perfect. Had me looking at all 4 corners not knowing what to expect.
