This is a hip hop album produced by Cole James Cash. The Album will feature rappers taking on the roles of different characters from the video game Street Fighter. The project currently needs 3500 $ USD to finalize two major features and cover mastering expenses so that it can be finished. The album if finished will be free to all. Release date is scheduled around early march. We just need the target amount to complete it so we can include Skyzoo and Chris Rivers on the album

1000 will be used to manufacture 100 limited edition vinyl peices, 15 of which will be given as apart of the rewards system with kickstarter.

Those who contribute will be able to get a free copy of the cd which will include custom album artwork as well as have their name in the credits on the CD packaging as well as the linear notes included in the download. This project currently has theme songs around Bison, Chun Li, Balrog, Dudley, Vega, E. Honda etc. You can hear some of the song snippits in the video provided.

So far the album tracklist, features and themes are:

1. Insert Coin (Feat LEX)

An introduction song featuring Queens native and Cole James Cash right hand rapper LEX about the feeling of putting your quarter in and preparing to go to war against whoever is standing at that cabinet.

2. Select Character (Feat Singapore Kane)

Accomplished Boston MC Singapore Kane narrates a short theme around picking your champion and whos next to take that beatdown.

3. Round One (Feat Hot Rod, Curtessy)

Hot Rod (G-unit/G-Note) and south central MC Curtessy open up the first round in a lyrical exchange about feeling out that first round and testing your skills against your opponent.

4. Balrog VS Dudley (Feat Crew54)

Austin Texas Heavyweights play the roles of Balrog and Dudley from street fighter as they exchange verses playing the infamous Balrog and the Gentlemanly Dudley as they square off in a song that feels like fight night at the MGM Grand.

5. Desperation Meter (Feat Chris Rivers (if goal is met)

This fast pace track is themed around desperation moves when the chips are down and there is nothing else left that can save the fight other than to pull out one last ace in the whole, If our kickstarter is met, it will be narrated by the son of one of the greatest of all time, Chris Rivers.

6. Round Two (Feat H. Alston)

This track is a short one first hard hitting track by accomplished lyricist H. Alston as he punctuates the middle rounds of a fight.

7. Sao Paolo (Feat Kese Soprano)

New Jersey native and Underground Music Around nominee Kese Soprano spits a tale about the beauty and the decay of Sao Paolo Brazil. For all of its tallest buildings and rich populous lies a corrupt underworld and crime ridden slums.

8. Round Three (Feat Apokalips Da Arch Angel)

Queens native Apokalips rounds out the latter half of a fight as it goes into the figurative championship rounds as the back and forth of a fight continues, there can only be one winner.

9. Practice Mode (Feat Metaphysical)

Another up and coming Queens lyricist goes over what it means to sharpen your skills in a mode we all have visited when we wanted to become superior to whoever we play, practice mode.

10. Bison (Feat Him-Lo)

Philly native and Lo Life Representative Him Lo of the Buze Bruvas takes on the role of the final boss himself, M. Bison and informs the entire cast of characters who really runs the show in the game, and in rap period.

11. Bonus State (Feat everyone who contributes 75$)

On this song I will personally shout out and thank everyone who meets the reward requirement by whatever name you would like me to use.

12. Hundred Hand Slap (Feat Eff Yoo)

Tragedy Khadafi protege Eff Yoo describes keeping a woman in check with the infamous special move from E. Honda the Hundred Hand Slap.

13. Low Life Bar (Feat Dre Manning)

In this bass heavy, guitar laden track Dre Manning takes you through the feeling of when your life bar gets low in the game in a figurative sense, as well as in life period.

14. Final Round (Feat Black Poet, H. Alston)

Queensbridge and New York legend and member of the legendary group Screwball Blaq Poet verbally spars with lyricist H. Alston in this chaotic track final round, when everything is on the line all thats left is to give everything you have to win.

15. After The Fight (Feat Manti Carlo, Singer TBA)

Manti Carlo and a singer later to be announced discuss that screen we have all seen after the fight is over. This jazzy, piano laced track is a slow change of pace in comparison to the other songs on the album and functions more like a RNB Rap ballad.

16. Chun Li & R. Mika (Feat Ensilence and Persia)

Philadelphia Femcee Ensilence takes on the role of Chun Li describing her life as an interpol agent and her endless quest to crush Bison and destroy his organization. Far Rock native and former Vh1 Reality star Persia takes on the role of obscure wrestler R. Mika and lets off a verbal array of combative lyrics coupled with borderline fem domme esque bars to indicate shes not one to be taken lightly.

17. Tiger Vs Jaguar (Feat AG Da Coroner, Lex, Eff Yoo)

This is the flagship song on the album and the inspiration for the entire concept. Ag Da Coroner Brooklyn heavyweight whos verse on "Apollos Last Stand" with Alchemist gave me the entire idea for this particular song takes on the role of Sagat, as he discusses his loss to Ryu and his intention of humbling his former pupil Adon. LEX (New York Rhyme Exchange) takes on the role of Adon, who indicates to Sagat that his time is finished and like Tupac once said "Hes lookin like larry holmes flabby and sick.) Eff Yoo takes on the role of Ryu, who respectfully enters the fray to humble both of them and let them know he destroyed both of them in the first world warrior tournament and to fall back and get their skills up. This is a URL /Smack style track intended to feel like a close quarters fight with personals and rebuttles much like the battles that take place in URL/KOTD.

18. Ryu & Ken (Feat Eff Yoo, GS Advance)

Eff Yoo once again takes on the role of Ryu along with Jamaica Queens MC G.S Advance as Ken as they describe their friendly rivalry and rigorous training. It wouldnt be right to have a street fighter album without these two.

19. NYC Subway Fights (Feat Lex, Suede Jury, Skyzoo (if goal is met)

In SF 3: 3rd strike there is a area that resembles 42nd street terminal, so i asked all 3 MCs to describe their most memorable MTA beatings they have either witnessed or been involved in. Skyzoo, Brooklyn native and accomplished industry heavyweight compliments the track by going into his own dealings with this very topic.

20. Vega (Feat HimLo)

Himlo goes in on a track thats very important to me, describing the state of current hip hop and how its shift from the message to what we see today has affected the culture as a whole. As to why its called Vega, you will have to wait until the album comes out for that answer!

21. Ending

Every video game has an ending, this is a solo track composed by me to round out the final part of the album!

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
The only challange facing the project is the remaining funds needed to finish it, the project already has several hundred dollars, the 3500 is to meet the difference. Once that difference is fulfilled, everything will fall into place. My last album "BBW A Pornographic Opera" was done with very little resources and still turned out excellent with excellent promotion and press.

Half of the album is already completed, however your contribution will make it a masterpiece hip hop wise.

Yo, the idea sounds excellent. You could blow up off 1 of these projects, the concepts are well thought out and interesting and you have the execution to pull it off. I don't even know Street Fighter like that lol, even though played it a bit as a kid but even I'm interested in the idea. The trick in my opinion is that the songs have a dual effectiveness, it fits in with the concept but also could stand alone as a dope track to someone who isn't knowledgeable about it. Of course there is the other side where you could go full throttle so the hardcore Street Fighter heads love it even more but I imagine an interesting balance could be achieved. My method if it was me would probably be having a track then tieing it to a universal theme. But I'm sure whatever YOU do will be dope. Could imagine this getting some good publicity and shyt too.

I've never used Kickstarter before, so I'm not exactly sure what to do or how it works. Is there a link to the kickstarter page could see? A few questions I'll ask you to via PM too. But like I said I plan to make a contribution here to the amount I said minimum.

Best of luck with the project, I hope that it is successful and you meet the targets you have in mind. If not go ahead full throttle anyway cause sounds dope regardless if you get the last 2 features but hopefully it works out.

Peace bro.

Thats the link to the page. The thing is, i must meet 3500 in 29 days or it doesnt go through at all. Period. So im really hoping it happens. There will also be music videos for the project this time. If i cant get coroner to appear in his track than i will have @Liu Kang edit a video for the song instead

The videos that WILL happen are "Hundred Hand Slap" (we already got hoes lined up on deck, they will be getting checked in the video) Insert Coin (will take place in a boxing gym) Chun Li and R. Mika

I am personally desigining a costume for persia (my degree is in graphic design) persia will be dressed up in this here
