Now, this is a review of Oxymoron but I didn't post it to debate on that. Look at what he says about judging albums. Do you agree or disagree? Again this thread ain't about Q's album. But his standard on how we judge albums? Do you agree or disagree with his premise?

The best stuff usually wows you on the first listen but that's not to say something can't grow on you with time.

I disagree. I think you can know on first blush if you like something or not but a lot of times, your tastes change with time, so something you disliked in high school you may love in college or vice versa. illmatic clicked with me immediately when I first heard it years after it came out but it was written really didn't click with me until I got to college. And then something like Tical 2000, I kinda liked when it came out in 98 but once I got to high school and college, I understood more of it and saw what Meth was doing on it and it became very dope to me
