But I would say Low End Theory fits the definition very well. Gen Z kids have been f*cking with it a lot on social media.
Crazy because I feel like Midnight Marauders deserves more attention from Gen Z

That's another album I heard years ago. I didn't grow up in the 90s. I've always been a Lebron-esque :mjlol: hip hop historian digging in the crates for records like this. Even back when I was a kid

Downloading Kurtis Blow, Run DMC, and Public Enemy albums off LimeWire when Crank That Soulja Boy was going viral
:flabbynsick:

Years later after I first heard MM is when it became one of my favorites albums ever

I think both get a lot of love.

2 of Rapsody's studio albums: Laila's Wisdom and Eve

Denzel Curry's TA1300 (TABOO)

Even Kids See Ghosts

These are a few of the many records that I grew to love the more I listened to them over time

The more I've lived with albums like these, the more I relate to what they're rapping about. The albums become so much more applicable to my life

I heard this in middle school. I liked it at the time. Just didn't have the capacity to process everything that encapsulated the record at that age

As a young adult who dug into so much of Pac's work released and unreleased, this is my favorite album of his. This and Me Against The World. Masterpieces imo

Hold Ya Head, Blasphemy, and White Man'z World took me years to take in and value
