This was a real trend in the late 90s/early 2000s. :russ:

One that comes to mind is the Beans/Bleek album advertised on the The Blueprint. Plus Rell's standard coming soon on every Roc release :deadrose:

Roc was infamous for this, Beans/Bleek, Rell, O/Sparks, 'The B. Coming' was in booklets for about 2 years before it's release, Chris solo...Infa Red/Cross from RR....I think they just threw those ads out before the album was anywhere close to being ready, or even approved, just a blind ad, and as a kid, i fell for it every time, harassing Sam Goody clerks about release dates and shyt...

Hypnotize Minds artists usually went through two-three different album titles and covers before an album saw the light of day (if it did at all)
