One of my best friends, I swear he had to be the world's biggest Memphis Bleek fan. He's bought every Bleek album, and he doesn't even follow music anymore, but whoever we see each other he always asks if I have anything new to send him from "mobb deep, lox, little brother, nas, az, Lloyd banks, Talib Kweli, or Memphis Bleek". Every time he gets that Bleek request in there.

He legit likes Bleek better than Jay, and by a good margin too. He heard Bleek was "the new and improved jay-z" on volume 2 and he's believed it ever since.

Edit: pretty sure Jay might be his least favorite from rocafella. He definitely likes Bleek, freeway, Sigel, and cam way more.​

He did. Every album had joints. M.A.D.E. and 534 especially I thought were unfairly slept on. But I mean, my friend had 534 on rotation for a long ass time. I think M.A.D.E. was his favorite. He had those albums down to a science, on which ones were best, etc. and he talked about Bleek's catalog the way we debate Jay and Nas on here. Comparing the albums to themselves instead of other people's albums.

If Bleek ever did something like Jay did, where he ranked his own albums, this guy would dissect it.
