Whenever substance abuse--whether it be alcohol, lean, weed, whatever--begins to interfere with your career, family, etc, it's time to cut it out. I mean just cut it out of your life and move on. Find something else to do with your time, preferably a hobby. Start fishing, or try snowboarding, or take an interest in stocks. Whatever it takes to stop you from drinking your life and career away. I hope Aldon learned his lesson. In any other industry he'd be unemployed, broke and homeless by now.
