Alicia Fox suffers concussion on Raw
If you watched the Nikki Bella & Alicia Fox vs. Charlotte & Becky Lynch tag team match during Monday Night Raw in Oklahoma City last night and thought nothing was out of the ordinary you wouldn't be the only one. Sadly, that wasn't the case.
Indeed, WWE is reporting today that Fox suffered a concussion during the proceedings:
Alicia Fox sustained a mild concussion during her tag team match on Raw, WWE.com can confirm.
The use of "mild" is certainly interesting considering the injury. WWE had also been keeping quiet on most injuries recently, so the fact that this was reported on by the company website is also worth noting. Remember, they never actually reported on Daniel Bryan's concussion and it wasn't even clear that was his injury until reports started making the rounds and he eventually confirmed them in interviews just this past week.
Rumors have suggested a major trios tag match was in the works for SummerSlam on Aug. 23 in Brooklyn and this could either derail that or force Nikki and Brie to recruit another member for Team Bella.
