This thread may seem a bit controversial and there probably aren't many Christians here, but this may be useful to some in the times to come. The Bible tells us in the end days there will be great deception.
There have been more and more news articles hinting at possible life on other planets and there have been more shows talking about the subject of aliens and ufos. There have been hopes that there will be 'disclosure' about life on other planets in our near future. The media is controlled by a few corporations, so it's not hard to create 'trends' in the news to tilt the thought patterns of the masses.
I do believe this so called 'alien disclosure' will happen soon, but it won't be what you think it is. What these so-called aliens are, are demons. The future is often hinted at in these television shows, and one such show is Childhood's End. Look at what the so called 'overlord alien' actually is:
Looks like the devil. There is another show called Lucifer that attempts to humanize the devil and make him out to be some sort of antihero. Since we know that television is primarily a human programming mechanism, shows of these sorts have a purpose. They are to prepare people to accept the coming of the antichrist. This is why you often see them pushing concepts such as 'oneness' and uniting all throughout the media. This is to prepare
for a worldwide, 'universal' religion. Essentially what will happen is that these 'aliens' will come down and claim that they created humanity through genetic engineering. They will have power to do great miracles to deceive humanity. Then one will elevate himself to be worshiped.
2 Thessolonians
3 Let no one in any way deceive or entrap you, for that day will not come unless the apostasy comes first [that is, the great rebellion, the abandonment of the faith by professed Christians], and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction [the Antichrist, the one who is destined to be destroyed], 4 who opposes and exalts himself [so proudly and so insolently] above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he [actually enters and] takes his seat in the temple of God, publicly proclaiming that he himself is God.
All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast--all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world (Revelation 13:8).
Then I saw another beast, coming out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon. He exercised all the authority of the first beast on his behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. And he performed great and miraculous signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to earth in full view of men. Because of the signs he was given power to do on behalf of the first beast, he deceived the inhabitants of the earth (Revelation 13:11-14).
In the UFO scene, aliens are often described as 'beings of light'.

And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.
