maybe netflix helped like it did with charmed reboot...i became a fan after episode 6.

How does ordering just 3 episodes work? Aren't they done shooting? They're gonna tack them on at the end of the season? Sounds disjointed as hell
Network shows have a different shooting schedule than cable or streaming service shows. Cable & streaming service shows shoot the entire season of a show before it airs. On the other hand, network shows that have a regular full 22-24 episode season start shooting their seasons in like July & they finish shooting the season in like March or April. So Network shows shoot the season as the season is airing.
I'm watching this week's episode right now (Season 2, Episode 3) & I finally realized who this nikka playing Cory James's ex-GF's son/mew South Crenshaw High QB Darnell is. I knew he looked familiar. At the end of the season premiere, I was thinking that's Dre from "Power" . But I just looked up the IMDB castlist for last week's episode & saw the dude playing Darnell is the same dude that played Cash Mooney on "Grown-ish",
