There is every type of song on there from song for females(how do you want, all about u, want to be your n.i.g.g.a) east coast lyrical miracle shyt (mind made up), LA shyt (California love), Bay Area shyt(aint hard to find, only god can judge me), posse cuts (tradin war stories), back and forth shyt (amerikkas most wanted) straight undeniable classics (ambitions as a ridah, heartz of men, ain’t mad at cha), etc People always talk about it’s too much filler but even the filler songs are entertaining, shyt like whatz to phone number and check out time considered filler are funny as hell and decent songs to give a listen. If I could only listen to 1 album again that would be it because I’m getting so much versatile and great content.

Love the album, no doubt. But strictly from a depth perspective, it’s probably 2Pac’s 3rd best album.

MATW & Makaveli both outdo this album in aggression/paranoia (If I Die 2Nite, Death Around the Corner, Bomb First, Against All Odds) and vulnerability/introspection (So Many Tears, Dear Mama, Lord Knows, White Manz World, Hold ya Head).

Hats off to Pac for doing 30 songs in 2 weeks and most of them being very good with high replay value but compared to his best work most of the songs just scratch the surface.

I always felt like it was the “Thriller” of rap albums. You can bring up Eminem or somebody like that having the biggest selling rap album, but EVERYONE I knew had AEOM. Not to mention, that album had multiple singles/videos that still get play today.

2 versions of California Love
2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted
How Do You Want It (which had 2 different videos)
I Ain’t Mad At Cha
All About U

Plus there were the non singles that got so much play they felt like singles such as Ambitionz At A Ridah, Picture Me Rollin, Title track, etc

Even Hit Em Up, even though it wasn’t on the album, it was out at the same time and the B side of the How Do U Want It single
