There's a british show from this year called The Stolen Girl with almost the exact same premise and twist.
Playdate kidnapping that is rooted in revenge over a car accident.

It was cool - stretches your suspension of disbelief, but it's entertaining enough and Sarah Snook is a good actress. She manages to convey a lot with just her eyes. Speaking of Sarah Snook, she must be the most fukkable "ugly" actress right now.

Dakota Fanning's character had "Gone Girl" undertones all over. I thought she was going to murk her husband :pachaha:

Show will likely be very popular with women

It's interesting but definitely feels like more of a network TV type of show. Definitely some weird dialogue and plot holes.

I'm just got done with the second episode and the two that don't make sense to me are

Why would people be mad at Dakota Fanning for hiring the nanny? If she hired her and she was totally normal and then went rogue, nobody would hold that against you. And then it was super corny at the press conference, no reporter would heckle a parent of a missing child like they did.
