For $1200 he could take a vacation, eat foods he doesn't regularly have access to, see parts of the country he hasn't before, enjoy entertainers, engage in different activities -- create memories.
If he's spending that amount because he's not allowed to take a vacation but he has to do something wih his time, there's something else going on there.
I'm not mad at him. I've gambled online (with a winning percentage). Because I didnt want to go to a casino, be around other people, drink and pay for drinks and be bribed.
I think this was a good experience for him and it'd even be something I may do once just for fukks
I definitely wouldn't scratch hundreds of tickets back to back but a couple here and there till they're gone. I've spent money on silly things before like usda beef ribs and expensive briskets and looking back I had a decent meal and could've spent the money on better things but it was just something to do.
