... for example the Rib Shack in Queens NY used to be a staple of dependable & consistent food until they were recently sold & now they're serving yams out of a can :palm:. Everything outside of the beef shortribs tasted different & just like every soulfood spot in NYC they've downsized the portions.


:francis: I know "cook your own food brehs" but when you're constantly on the run sometimes you just can't find the time to prep.

Oh shyt, theres Coli brehs who go to BBQ Rib Shack on Linden Blvd!? I eat there too :krs: I've been eating from there since I was a kid, I think it used to owned by some breh named Poor Freddie.


Most of the soul food restaurants in NYC are in Harlem or Brooklyn specifically in and around Bed Stuy.
