now rosecrans ain't quik from 91' to 98' or even up to 2000 but production wise? it's still some of quik's best work in the last few years and far better than tlop
tlop is literally a pile of dog shyt. i don't see how anyone can even consider that album in the least bit even ok

I dunno man, I had really high expectations for Rosecrans, but wasn't really feeling it outside of a couple tracks... I thought TLOP was excellent, though. Different strokes I guess

i didn't know quik had an ep comin' out so it was a surprise to me and i fukks with it
that tlop though? naw man. i heard it like 2 times and the only song i ever went back and listened to was that "old kanye" acapella/freestyle shyt and 30 hours
but tlop is a mess to me. just a bunch of random and incoherent ideas and themes thrown together and presented as supposedly some "avant garde" bullshyt

It definitely is a scatted piece of work, but I think a lot of that is by design - I think he conceptualized the album as the musical version of a Picasso piece, hence the title. Or I could be reading too much into things. Either way, I'm just glad we didn't get another Yeezus
