take education very seriously and don't focus on entertainers for guidance or control of their group think.

Our culture is so messed up now, it will take decades to overcome a lot of our problems. There isn't any quick fix out there people, our lives are filled with so much shyt, being militant 24/7 aint enough.

When I see the garbage and utter filth that majority of our people embrace in today's society makes me sick, there isn't any hope to see change in my lifetime.

One of my favorite memes. It could happen today if enough people wake up.

Stop supportin' others and support our own. It's not a difficult concept.

Fam...

Aint know "overcoming". What's going to happen to black people is pretty much written in stone. Do what you need to do to save yourself.

THREE-OH-FIVE TILL I DIE
I went to Winn Dixie the other day.
And in the deli, for some reason, they let folks sample chicken wings. Now, these are the same chicken wings that are also in the self serve area.

Whilst walking past that area, I noticed an obese Sista standing there eating a wing. No big deal.

I finished gathering the stuff I needed and made my way to the checkout line.

The same chick was there gnawing on another wing. I had to do a double take because she had maybe 4 or 5 more chicken wings in her other hand.

Note to OP and anyone who doesn't like what I'm about to say.

I refuse to practice group economics with people who have no self control and dignity.

But capitalism can't function without out a portion of the populace who have no self control and dignity!

No one comes ready-made. We're all learnin'. We can all be looked down upon by someone.

And we all have somethin' to offer. That sista is not the one to get dietary info from, but she likely has some other knowledge or skill.

This is a sad unfortunate truth. We as a people have turned into what I call consumerist opportunists. We always want to play the short game and consume as much as possible with as little output as possible. We want to cash out our chips at reduced rate instead of investing/budgeting for long term goals. I made plenty of mistakes with the money I made, but I learned and implemented and piece by piece I'm trying to build something to pass to my children and afford them the opportunities I never got until later in life and I think this is something that has to be taught, slowly but surely. That obese woman has already chosen her fate, but we can still instill knowledge to the youth if we were willing to make cultural changes. Like for instance, valuing education more in our communities.
