What is the criteria to be considered a Classic?

There are arguments like ; "only your region feels that way" , "only the young/old feel that way" ; that try to prove its not a classic.

But what proves its a classic? Singles, sales , beats , content ?

or is it just an opinion , where you cant hold court and come out with a verdict.

there should be some way to figure this shyt out.

Is illmatic the template/reference for classic ?

We need some laws in this Coli Court.


Or should we separate Classics into their region?

Then go from there.
