Share your story here cause I'm tired of community college. Got a 3 page persuasive essay I'm procrastinating cause I feel like I'm wasting my time.

Don't drop out breh, especially if you plan on becoming a programmer. I kind of hate telling my story because it doesn't take into account how lucky I got .PM me if you plan on becoming a programmer, if you plan on doing networking or something along those lines, you may want check out the IT thread.

But either way, I highly recommend you don't drop out. Get it over with now.

Yeah don't drop out unless you are disciplined willing to invest the 4-6 years self learning and doing entry level and junior roles to get the experience and industry certifications. Unless you are skilled, confident enough with an intact support system to step out on your own (which most people especially Black people lacking secondary education are not/do not have) then you probably just remain in an operative role, never advancing towards senior manager/exec role without a Bachelors and a Masters nowadays.

You hear about the Bill Gates and Zuckerbergs of the world but they came from upper middle class to wealthy families with more options and had better primary education. Black people don't have that option and are generally providing emotional and financial support to their fams sending refund checks home and shyt.
