Whos better and Greater all time?

Both have an MVP, balled the fukk out in their only Finals appearance, both exceeded basketball in terms of the culture and both also had pretty dope shoes, low key.

I'm rocking with AI just cause I saw him play as a Teenager. But wouldn't knock anyone if they rolled with Sir Charles.

charles barkley, easily...i know it's easy to knock chuck cause of a lot of stupid shyt he says, but when it comes to what he did on that court, people shouldnt underestimate...the man was a 6'4 pf, think about that for a sec...and he dominated...yea, it's easy to say he doesnt have a ring and try to use that against him, but rings are a team accomplishment, not individual...when it comes to ballin, chuck was a baller, plain and simple....it's a reason he one of the 50 greatest....

that's not a slight towards ai neither...he was a baller too and will be on the next greatest list they do (51-100), but sir charles was just a better baller....

Charles was 1b to Jordan's 1a at one point.

Think about that.

AI stole an MVP from Shaq:ehh:

Charles stole one from Jordan:merchant:

Chalres retired because he felt he couldn't be a force on the boards anymore due to his injury.

At that time he was averaging TEN AND A HALF rebounds per game!!!!:merchant::merchant::merchant: fukking incredible.

Charles by a mile.

I agree about Chuck's greatness. But, at what point was this? I don't remember Charles being neck and neck with MJ or even being 2nd best in the NBA.

the ether
Can't go wrong with either guy but a slight edge to Barkley

For being 6'6 and top 20 in boards almost a mix of Bron and Draymond. I was an infant when he left Philly , but watching highlights of his younger Sixer days, that man was incredible.

:what:

Draymond's #1 asset is his defense.

Chuck was AWFUL at defense. Like legit bad, not just "bad for his ability". He was lazy as hell and never tried, but not just that, he didn't even know how to play good defense because he never tried. Missing switches, taking bad angles, trying to draw offensive fouls and failing....he could get nice steals and nice blocks sometimes because of his athleticism, but his technique was awful.

1992-93. His MVP year. He averaged 26/12/5, the Suns went 62-20 (best in the league), he put up the legendary 44/24 game 7 in the WCF, and were favored to beat the defending Champion Bulls that year...(even though we know how that ended :francis:)

That Suns offense was 2017 Warriors-esque at the time. MJ averaged what...41 in that series? And they still took two games off him IN CHICAGO...

I'd of probably given it to Olajuwon in '93 for his two-way impact tbh. That was the first full season Rudy T took over, did away with Don Chaney's equal opportunity offense (without the necessary pieces to pull it off) and started running things principally through Hakeem. It began in earnest what we came to see from him during Clutch City's back-to-back runs in 94/95, not to mention they were basically screwed over in the Semis Game 7 against the Sonics during the '93 playoffs.

That isn't to say Round Mound should necessarily be without an NBA MVP in his trophy case though because he likely deserved it as much as anyone in 1990 leading a garbage Sixers team to 53 wins and more importantly even had more first place votes than the winner Magic Johnson (38-27) but somehow came in second place. I think there was some shyt about a few voters completely leaving him off their ballot because he was a NWA.
