It's now at .80 APY. I know that the USA is in a tough time, and that these things fluctuate, but have any of you ever seen it go up?

I've only had an account at Ally since 2018, and it's only gone down since then.

They are tied to the Fed's interest rate. Right now its at 0% so you're not to get any yield.

I use Linus for some of my savings. They are a small crypto-based saving company and their account returns 4.5%. NO FDIC insurance but they say your money isn't directed tired to the crypto market so if they go sideways as a company you can get your money back.

I'm not happy about it but I still pull in more than my other savings account, which is why Ally is my primary.

Hi bnew, we’re writing to let you know that the Annual Percentage Yield (APY) for your Online Savings Account is changing from 0.80% APY to 0.60% APY on all balance tiers. Your new APY is effective 9/25/2020 and will show online in your account details on 9/26/2020.

Finna make that switch to Tellus. High yield interest account aren't really a thing anymore.
