Already said he was coming back. Needs to work on his back to the basket game. There's a reason why he was the number 1 player in the country at one point coming out of HS. He dominated Nerlen Noels 2 years ago on the AAU circuit. Noels came back the following year and balled out against McGary. McGary's rankings dropped whereas Noels jumped up the the number one spot. McGary's game reminds me of David Lee.
...he's only had like 6-7 very good games ever
kind of adds to the intrigue, as dumb as it sounds now. he starting getting time after dropping weight, and turned into Altered Beast. now its got me thinkin what if he keeps working on his condition, how good does it get?
if im sitting on a 8-12 pick, do i want this oxen of a prospect or Plumlee whose a 6/4/.05 guy waiting to happen? im all in on the potential
what impressed me a lot yesterday was McGary's court vision/passing.

He's 6'9-6'10, so he's no completely undersized..but he's got an incredible motor for a big guy + great hands, he catches everything.
In the pick and roll NBA, I can see him being the 4th-5th best guy on a playoff team.

with the extinction of the NBA big men... you insane if you think dude is staying in school. He looks like he is playing against children out there. He is one more double double away from being a lottery pick. :sadplumlee:
This is the year to come out early, he'll get taken first round mainly because of how absolutely terrible this draft is.
he still wouldn't be considered a true big man in the NBA...he's in the 6-9"-10" area, so he would still be an undersize big in the NBA...he wouldn't add much defensively and he's so raw offensively, not sure where "his" production would come from...has ALOT of developing to do....
