Am I bugging or is there some form of quick resume on ps5 now?

Turned off Diablo IV and went back to octopath using the “continue where you left off” and it put me exactly where i was before.

It's been like that for awhile now. When the ps5 launched, they were advertising those weird activity cards where you could load into certain activities in games. Most games just allow you to load your most recent save data using that function, not as impressive as the multi game suspension on xbox, but still pretty good.

Tthis was like a whole seperate section you had to navigate to in order to select specific activity cards that brought you to certain sections of the game and not a lot of games utilized them.

Now its baked right into the UI, you have “start game” on the right side and “continue where you left off on the left”, like they are using what were the activity cards functionally without making you click on activity cards? But even then my activity cards never started me where i stopped the game.

It's been like this from the jump, I rarely play my Ps5 and I know this. It's not persistent through a hard reboot and but if you have your PS5 in rest mode it works similarly.

Naw it hasn’t, turn on your ps5, it never functioned like this before

I’ve played multiple games since I’ve played Moss and when i click on “continue game” it takes me exactly back to where i was
