So he's attractive let's get that out of the way. And we seemed to get on and were probably laughing more than we should have and it may have felt inappropriate the way he was staring at me but then I also felt prolonged and weird eye contact from 2 other people male and female so it may just be my perception or a cultural thing since they're all from other countries.
Anyway that's the background. What happened is this guy with a good sense of humour we were at a work thing I can see he's married (yes I noticed the ring, I have a habit of noticing might be a symptom of dissatisfaction with single life). Anyway he's a senior manager he seems cool we have a bit of banter then there's the aforementioned weird eye contact at some point in the day then towards the end we were in a very big group but we're sat next to each other and as a group having a really fun time. I probably shouldn't have shoved him as I was laughing but oh well.
So my question is: he pulled his ring out (he'd taken it off for the activity) but he pulled his ring out and said to me out loud "I should put my ring back on". Now am I reading too much into this or was that an fyi I'm married message he was sending? Does it mean anything if a guy does that (draw your attention to his ring)?
