I would be biased, because Miami Vice the show is probably my favorite tv series, or in my top 5, and Mann is my favorite director, but I love that movie, it's hard for me to see how people can't appreciate it, esp. if they watched the series. It was such a near perfect adaptation. Miami Vice is actually a very dark and brooding show, exactly like the movie.

Criminally underrated flick. You have to have an affinity for that dark 80s noir style to appreciate it. It’s a love or despise flick for most.

Colin Ferrell and Jamie just weren't believable as criminals. Like ole boy said, they were too good at what they did. Better casting woulda made it better

I need a 4k release. This movie is a visual delight, I was just praising its cinematography in another thread.

Wish I saw it in theaters.

Its on my list of movies to watch again once I get the proper home theater.
