It doesn't exist. It's a myth for the most part.
People in prison/jail are the least judgmental people you'll meet. Everybody has a story. Everybody is "innocent."
You're more likely to get a beatdown for not maintaining good personal hygiene before you get got for your rap sheet.
It's true about least judgemental in my experience , two of my friends who are the most accepting of my brothers mental illness both did time in prison for quite serious stuff.Other people who probably a parking ticket was their most serious trangression became more distant.
Though ,someone in my gym got sent down for fukking a 13 yr old girl. He was in his twenties, it's not like he held her down she is the slut of the social housing estate where he lived apparently already been fukking other people ..... , but obviously it was wrong. He's a bit slow in the head, but that didn't stop him getting sent to jail. Basically I think because he was slow in the head, fat {despite all the training was still fat} ,and no connections, his crime did come up, and he was bullied and ended up making a suicide attempt nearly died . Had to be sent to a medium secure hospital in the end to do his time, then went to an open prison. He's out now, not welcome back at the gym though.
Really depends on the rapist/paedo to be honest, I wouldn't say prison justice is a certainty , and to be honest any slow weak person can be fresh meat in prison whatever the crime.
