Am I the only brotha out there like now? It's like I've become numb. I've always knew shyt was awful but NOW.....it's like IDGAF.

March...for what? Protest...why? Twitter/Facebook etc....fight all day for what?

Like enjoy my kids, life, wife and let drama unfold without my attention. It's almost sad.

I have a great job. No kids. Most of the things being passed or proposed don't negatively affect me.

Certainly I am always on guard...but asking....especially in this huge " post racial " society and with social media you would like to think something would change....I guess asking people who don't view you as humans or victims has made me not even attempt to engage this shyt anymore.

Oh, if you mean my attitude with regards to cacs, I don't even waste my time. The good cacs need to do the work in their own community to bring cacs back into the fold of humanity by rejecting whiteness. Those who cling to whiteness can all get that work. Definitely past the point of having debates with them, I'm not going to stand here and have to logically debate why I have human rights when someone is committed to rejecting my humanity.

If you just want to enjoy your life...
Best thing you can do is get a solid job, stop watching the MSM, avoid gossipy ass individuals, use social media as little as you can, and just go out and enjoy yourself.

I rarely watch MSM anymore, I rarely go on social media outside of talking to family and other menial shyt like that. I still travel, I go to events, ppl that stay glued to the TV are the ones that are hurting themselves. No need to waste your life away in fear of some bullshyt, that 99% chance will never come to you.

You cannot completely disassociate yourself from the world. There is always the chance of something happening to you. The point is to manage that risk and do those things that lower the likelihood that you're going to be a victim of circumstances.

See I used to think that...but him...that tennis player a few years ago...it's almost like we would be better off not even protesting....at least it would catch people off guard.

I understand exactly what you're talking about. There is nothing, as a black man, you can do to prevent a racist cop from fukking with you individually/specifically. I'm speaking moreso on insulating yourself from policies that are generally applied/structural issues (health care, tax/economic/housing policies, educational access etc).

Man I remember I went to the mall to get my wife's sunglasses fixed ( we bought them elsewhere but at the same chain) and this bytchass nikka.....he was on some refused and had the nerve to call the fukkin cops/security when I told him I'd call the BBB....I just sat there ( didn't want to run the risk of them catching me walking out and tackling/grabbing me)...or worse.

My exact words was " we ain't ended up the news from this" and I sat right outside the store...they old me I could stay in the mall but not that store....I told them hell naw I'm out this bytch.....that's asking for trouble.

Situation coulda went South quick.
