Never you mind....
I hate cats. I really don't understand the obsession some people have with them. I don't find them cute at all. Dogs (especially pugs and yorkies) > cats

I like both so I guess I'll defend cats in this thread. You've got a couple misconceptions.

Cats don't shyt or piss on anything. They're way better than dogs in this regard. Get a litterbox, clean it out once a week and you're good. Literally no training required. But if you've got enough dedication you can even teach your cat to use the toilet. How fukking cool is that as opposed to having to take your dog out everyone it has to go?

Cats love to play. Most of the time you can entertain that lil nikka with just a piece of string.

Some cats will run away from strangers. Some will come up to them. All depends on their personality. But a cat running away from you is better than the neighbor's dog trying to take your hand off right? I've met plenty of dogs that aren't friendly so it goes both ways.

One great thing about cats is that they require almost no training to be a part of your household. A dog needs to be extensively trained not to do things. An untrained dog is a nightmare to have in your house. Acting rowdy, jumping on people, biting people, chewing on your property or destroying it, shytting all over the place, getting into your food, etc. The worst an untrained cat is going to do is scratch furniture, and that can be solved by getting a scratching post (or declawing).

Dogs require constant attention. You need to play with them every day and shower them with love. You can't leave them on their own. Cats are chill and can do their own thing, but are there for you when you need them. You can go on vacation for a week no prob, just leave them enough food. Some people want a more independent animal.
