Do players actually show up for that parade and trophy still?:dead:

And I'd gladly be Mr. Irrelevant over going undrafted I guess.:francis:

I don't know Breh as a 6/7th rd pick you go to the team that picks you as an undrafted FA you can kind of choose your destiny...Every year a gang of undrafted FAs make some noise.

Undrafted fa are not choosing their destination. Their agents are calling every team waiting for any team to call them back :heh:. It's the sane thing, you're waiting for a team to ring your phone just like the draft. Getting drafted at least you have a spot in training camp, those checks are pretty good too, like $5k a a week. Plus getting drafted can be a marketing thing so when you get cut you have some leverage to get on with another team. Use it to market yourself as a personal trainer or get paid to train high school football athletes.

I could be wrong I think the practice squad dudes get nearly the same thing...Most of the players who have NFL potential generally end up in someone's camp....its preferred to be drafted but some guys do end up making the undrafted FA work for them.

Matter of fact I had a homeboy on the Bengals practice squad for like 2 seasons he only made his pay during the season no offseason checks.

I made a mistake it's $5k a week. He didn't get paid for training camp? I'm pretty sure they have to get paid. No way the nfl has these dudes putting on pads and being hitting dummies and battering rams for free. Way too much lawsuit exposure

No he'd get paid for the duration of the season but not for the voluntary camps...But from training camp - the end of the season he'd get paid...He made good money to a regular dude but not compared to his teammates.

They also end up doing a lot of practice time which ends up making them better.

I remember we would go to the club and cats would have there Bengals ideas on there neck lol.
