They have a chance to make this shyt happen, and it could truly be cool as fukk. If Bats is going to be dancing with the JLA, he's gonna have to be fukking incredible.

I agree, I liked Nolan's vision but I don't want all directors to follow that same path.

Again, if they follow elements of the dark knight returns, then I'm sure they'll throw bats in some suit. And with Iron Man glorifying a regular human in a mechanical suit fitting in with gods, aliens, and hulks, then they're shouldn't be a problem.

I just watched Batman Returns last night for the first time in a long while. God damn was it good, even better than I remembered. Tim Burton's surrealist version of Batman is a visual treat. The acting by Danny Devito as the penguin and Michelle Pfeiffer as catwoman was superb, not to mention Christopher Walken. The soundtrack by Danny Elfman was fantastic as well.
